Institutional Context
The Capital Region Airport Authority (CRAA) owns and operates Capital Region International Airport and Mason Jewett Field, overseeing passenger service, cargo operations, customs clearance, and logistics infrastructure supporting regional and global connectivity.
Through authority board governance and intergovernmental coordination, CRAA directs capital planning and asset stewardship decisions involving hundreds of millions of dollars in aviation, cargo, and logistics infrastructure.

As a Lansing City Council Member At-Large, Brown exercised governance oversight through board appointment confirmations and intergovernmental coordination on airport-related capital programs and community-impact considerations.
